Cartoon Network To Air JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION This Fall

In a world where Teen Titans GO! exists and isn’t so well received, Cartoon Network decided it’d be a good idea to pick up yet another DC related show in the same vein called Justice League Action.

“Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge.

The show will air in 11-minute installments much like GO! and without a doubt will most likely be just as campy and ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong, there are some GO! episodes that are utterly hilarious but for the most part the show is so out of the box that it can be a little off-putting and annoying sometimes.

justice-league-action-poster-dd86d-2549c

The best thing about the show is that much like Teen Titans GO! we will be having some of our favorites return to do voices. Not only will we have Kevin Conroy back as Batman but Mark Hamill will return as the Joker. James Woods is set to voice Lex Luthor and Diedrich Bader as Booster Gold. Not bad, right?

Blue Beetle, Harley Quinn, Shazam, Big Barda, Lobo and more are set to make appearances in the show as well.

Like I said, GO! has some moments where I find the show to be funny but I am in agreement with most of the people that don’t like it in that it REALLY wasn’t necessary to dumb the show down to that level just to appeal to children. I know PLENTY of children who enjoyed and still enjoy the original Teen Titans show. Justice League Action seems appealing to say the least and I will try to give it a chance. After all, despite not being as wacky and out of the box as GO! we’ve seen some great success with DC Super Hero Girls so who knows, it might be good.

Disney Channel To Do 4-Day DCOM Marathon

You heard me.

Disney Channel is hopping on that nostalgia train by doing FOUR DAYS of Disney Channel Original Movies. FOUR…WHOLE…DAYS!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve seen some of the recent ones and you think to yourself “remember when DCOMs were REALLY good?” Now we get to see if they hold up.

New and Final Trailer for Marvel’s DAREDEVIL

As I was avoiding very important life responsibilities, I saw that Marvel’s DAREDEVIL twitter account drop the final trailer for season two of DAREDEVIL. I have now seen it about 5 times and I cannot wait for Friday!

If for some unknown reason you haven’t seen season one yet or finished it, it’s still streaming and you have less then 2 days to catch up. Why are you still reading this, go, pull up Netflix on whatever device you own and watch it. Watch it all right now.

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.

Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.

SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL Season Three Trailer

The official account for the 20th Anniversary of Sailor Moon posted the trailer for season three of Sailor Moon Crystal today! The series will start airing in April and will be bringing in Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Saturn. The series will also deal with the newest baddies, the Death Busters.

And for random Sailor Moon trivia, today is Sailor Neptune’s Birthday!

I’m excited for the newest arc of Sailor Moon Crystal and this one happens to be my favorite ever. Sailor Saturn is one of my favorite guardians so I can’t wait to see her story in Crystal. I’ve been watching the series even though I am not a fan of the animation but this season looks a bit promising! Please note this is my own opinion and shouldn’t affect how you watch or believe in this series.

If you haven’t caught the series, it is streaming on Hulu and CrunchyRoll. They also stream the newest episodes during the same time they originally air. Now is the perfect time to catch up before season three starts!

The Trailer For Season Two Of Marvel’s DAREDEVIL Is Here

Just when we didn’t think it could get any grittier and darker, it has. The newest trailer for season two of Netflix and Marvel’s hit show Daredevil has hit the internet and it’s promising us a whirlwind of a season.

Focusing on The Punisher played by Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal, we’ll get a season all about revenge and what will happen when two different sides of crime fighting come face to face.

I got chills watching this trailer. Daredevil was such a surprising show. I for one didn’t expect it to be so good and it really blew me out of the water. I wish I could experience it with fresh eyes again!

Check out the trailer below and make sure to watch until the end for a preview of a character we’ve all been super excited to see!

Season 2 is set to premiere March 18th but on February 25th we’ll get the second half of this already amazing trailer!

ASH VS. EVIL DEAD Gets Some Familiar Faces For Season 2

Ash vs. Evil Dead season two isn’t set to air for quite a while now (later this year, but still) and we’re already getting news as to who will be joining the now fan favorite cast. This all came to us via a press release from Starz themselves, claiming the cast of Ash vs. Evil Dead to be “KICK-ASH”. I just had to throw this in here for good measure.

Joining us this year will be Lee Major, who will be taking on the big role of Ash’s dad, who we’ve never seen before, as well as Ted Raimi who will play Ash’s childhood BFF. Yeah, it seems like the second season of Ash vs. Evil Dead will be even better than the first. Check out the snipper of info below for a bit more info and make sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments!

image003.jpgrfimage004.jpgrfe

STARZ has announced today that Lee Majors (Do You Believe) will play the role of Brock Williams, Ash’s father, and Ted Raimi (“Xena: Warrior Princess,” Spider-Man) will play the role of Ash’s childhood best friend, Chet Kaminski, in the STARZ Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead.” The series was previously renewed for a second season and will return in 2016. – Starz

What are your thoughts on this cast announcement?
