HER UNIVERSE Docu-Series Debuts on Comic-Con HQ

For those who have been waiting patiently for The Her Universe Fashion Show: Fashion Meets Fandom, the brand new docu-series debuting on Comic-Con HQ, to release, wait no more because the series is officially live on  Comic-Con HQ. Two episodes are kicking off this premiere and fans are already abuzz with excitement over it. The show follows 27 designers as they prepare for the once in a life time chance of debuting their outfits during the Her Universe Fashion Show that happens annually during San Diego Comic Con. A brand new docu-series, The Her Universe Fashion Show: Fashion Meets Fandom premieres TODAY exclusively on Comic-Con HQ – the new digital network and streaming video-on-demand destination for San Diego Comic-Con. Starring Ashley Eckstein (Founder of Her Universe), the series follows twenty-seven aspiring fashion designers chosen to compete in the world’s top “geek couture” fashion show taking place on July 21st at San Diego Comic-Con. Three contestants (two chosen live at the event, one by online vote) will win the opportunity to design a fashion collection with Her Universe sold exclusively at leading pop culture retailer, Hot Topic. Over the next four weeks, get to know each of our contestants, their designs, and their dreams as we follow them from conception to catwalk live at Comic-Con. Series created by Ashley Eckstein and Jennifer Tisdale. Co-produced by Blondie Girl Productions.

Her Universe to Release Han Solo Inspired Sweater

I may have gasped audibly at an Instagram post, but it was well deserved because the lovely folks from Her Universe will be bringing us a Han Solo inspired vest sometime soon. This reveal came to us via Ashley on Instagram and has me so excited that I’m embarrassing my own self. Take a look for yourself and prepare to get excited over the best sweater ever.

Her Universe x Hot Topic STAR WARS Collection

Her Universe has done it again! The geek fashion line has teamed up with Hot Topic to bring us geek girls (and boys!) another amazing gorgeous fashion collection! I’m a fan of the  Her Universe x Hot Topic Marvel Avengers fashion collection but I abso-freaking-loutley love the Star Wars fashion collection they have released this holiday season!

Everything looks so geek chic and I can’t handle it. All these pieces can mix and match for an afternoon out for brunch or for a date night! Her Universe has always paid so much attention to detail bring out the aspects of the character they used for inspiration and made it for everyday wear. They listen to the fans and create things we want. I don’t know about you but I wear it with pride! It’s a great time to be a geek!

The collection is now available online!! The Princess Leia dress and plus size will be available the first week of December at Hot Topic and Torrid!

The Princess Leia dress is on my list to buy! I’m also drooling over both BB-8 and Boba Fett bomber jackets. Truthfully, I’m probably gonna break and get everything. My birthday is next month!
