The Trailer for SING Is Here And Doesn’t Disappoint

I love a good animal based film. After the success of Zootopia and the hype around the upcoming The Secret Life of Pets, I can’t help that feel movies involving talking animals are on the right track to being successful again.

When I first heard about the film SING I thought “Well what on earth do we need a movie about a singing competition with animals for?” but then I followed that up with “Why not? Everything’s been done…”

Today I sat down to watch the trailer and I can without a doubt say that I am NOT disappointed. I am actually kind of excited for it.

Between Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service) belting out his smooth lyrics as as gorilla and Scarlett Johasson‘s (of Avengers fame) loud punk rock scream as a porcupine, color me intrigued.

So what exactly is the premise for this already insane sounding movie?

Sing finds Matthew McConaughey as Buster Moon, the dapper koala who oversees a theatre that was once a grand entertainment venue, but is now falling on hard times, with peeling paint and dodgy plumbing. In a last-ditch attempt to restore the venue to its former glory, he decides to stage the world’s greatest singing challenge, throwing the doors open to members of the public who think they have what it takes. (x)

In retrospect, it sounds like something we’ve seen before. And it probably is. But in the big idea of things, I feel like based on the trailer alone this will prove to be a movie filled to the brim with life lessons and entertainment.

Alongside Egerton and Johansson are Seth MacFarlane who plays a crooked mouse, Tori Kelly who plays a shy teenage elephant and Reese Witherspoon who plays a pig with 25 kids and what appears to be an unsupportive husband.

Get Ready For The Apocalypse Thanks To Your CELL Phone!

I knew the world would go to heck in a hand basket because of cell phones.

The first official trailer for the film CELL based on Stephen King‘s 2006 novel of the same name has been released and I can’t wait to see it. It’s been a while since I read the novel but I was so sucked in that I read it in one sitting which doesn’t happen often. I will say that I was frustrated with the ending of the book but at the same time, it made you think for a second about the events and what ifs.

I didn’t even know much about the book when it was first released but the whole idea of humanity turning into zombies with the use of cell phones intrigued me. Granted I look around now and see mindless people so I guess the book has semi come true.

Should I be scared?

Stephen King’s best-selling novel is brought to terrifying life in this mind-blowing thriller starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. At the Boston airport, Clay (Cusack) witnesses a scene of chaotic mayhem when an electronic signal turns hundreds of cell phone users into rabid killers. Desperate to find his estranged wife and son, Clay teams with a train driver (Jackson) to battle the horde of murderous “phoners” as the city descends into apocalyptic madness.

Staring Golden Globe nominee John Cusack (1408, Love & Mercy, Being John Malkovich, 2012), Academy Award nominee Samuel L. Jackson(Avengers: Age of Ultron, Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction) and Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan, The Hunger Games).

Cell is ringing onto Ultra VOD (stream it on your phones guys!) June 10 and will be in theaters July 8 for a limited time.

Wolverine Joins The Fight In New X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Trailer

It was only a matter of time before it was revealed if Wolverine would be making an appearance or not in the film. After much talk about Hugh Jackman ending his run as Wolverine, some weren’t sure if he’d be in this film. We can  now rest knowing that our beloved Logan will be in the film and now ticket sales will probably skyrocket.

In the newest trailer we get a feel for what’s to come with Mystique training and leading the team of young mutants getting them ready for the fight of their lives. We also hear that Pietro (Quicksilver) finally knows that Magneto is his dad (that didn’t take long) and oddly enough Nightcrawler meets and recognizes Mystique. Now, us comic book buffs know that Mystique is actually Nightcrawlers mom. But they’re roughly the same age in this film so that leads me to believe they’re nixing that story line.

Anyway, the trailer was jam packed with action and excitement and I for one will be there opening weekend! Can’t wait to see it. Everyone looks amazing.

New FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM Trailer Released

What a time to be both a Harry Potter fan and a Hufflepuff, am I right?

Last night at the MTV Movie Awards we were given a teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. But let’s be real, this definitely felt more like a trailer than just a teaser. And I am not even mad about it.

I honestly, have no words. So here is the trailer below. Alos, peep that classic HP score that they jazzed up for this movie!

The Red Band Trailer For SAUSAGE PARTY Has Us Dying Of Laughter

At first sight, you’d think Sausage Party was a kids movie with an innuendo for a title. And for a little bit, the trailer leads you to believe the same thing…that is until you see a potato screaming and cursing as it’s getting peeled.

That’s right guys, Sausage Party is a film about expectations vs. reality when it comes to what food items think happen to them when they leave the store.

“Sausage Party, the first R-rated CG animated movie, is about one sausage leading a group of supermarket products on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and what really happens when they become chosen to leave the grocery store. ” (x)

When I watched this trailer I said to myself “WHY!?” but I was also laughing my ass off entirely. This is such a bizarre concept for a movie that I am both mad that it’s being made and that I am going to spend money on it but also REALLY happy that it’s being made because I feel like I didn’t know I needed it until I saw it.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Trailer 2 has Dropped!!

THE CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR TRAILER 2 IS HERE!!!

Gladys: I can’t form any kind of words right now because of this amazing trailer. You just need to watch it, maybe two, three, or heck four times. I think I’m on viewing six right now as I am trying to type this.

They are really making it difficult to pick sides. I have been up to this point TeamCap but now I am not so sure. Where do I stand? I don’t know anymore. I’m still not excited for Spider-man probably because of all the different movies/reboots/ it keeps happening but I will say that I did like his costume.

Seeing Scarlet Witch/Wanda’s face when they showed the events of Sokovia punched me in the gut! Aw man….

And guys ANT MAN IS ON ONE OF HAWKEYE’S ARROWS!!!! XDGJDKLJFSLRTIO!!! Okay, enough of my incoherent thoughts in regards to the trailer. I need to let my team share their thoughts too!!

Travis: WHAT IS LIFE?!?! WHAT DID WE JUST WITNESS?!?! I AM DEAD. Okay, not really, just emotionally wrecked and really unstable right now. The Captain America movies are my favorite Marvel movies and Bucky is my favorite character, so I’ve been waiting so long for this film and, yes,  I knew this trailer would be good but NOT THIS GOOD! Just from the opening shots of seeing Bucky I was so, so excited that I could barely contain myself and than the rest of the trailer happened and I just- I’m not really okay right now, am I?

Everything worked in this trailer. EVERYTHING. I started crying when Black Widow took out those bad looking guys cause something about that scene with the music and what followed really made me realize that this is a big deal. That this argument could mean horrible things for either side and that our beloved heroes aren’t so beloved by everyone else. The world is scared. Which is why I am loving Civil War so much! We’re getting a glimpse into this life of the heroes that showcases them in a “If this were real…” scenario. UGH, IT’S JUST SO GOOD! I loved it so much! I’ve watched it multiple times. This film will be the end of me. Goodbye world. Oh and I’m meeting the cast in June so like I’m all kinds of emotionally unstable right now. Bury me with Bucky Hot Toys.

SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL Season Three Trailer

The official account for the 20th Anniversary of Sailor Moon posted the trailer for season three of Sailor Moon Crystal today! The series will start airing in April and will be bringing in Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Saturn. The series will also deal with the newest baddies, the Death Busters.

And for random Sailor Moon trivia, today is Sailor Neptune’s Birthday!

I’m excited for the newest arc of Sailor Moon Crystal and this one happens to be my favorite ever. Sailor Saturn is one of my favorite guardians so I can’t wait to see her story in Crystal. I’ve been watching the series even though I am not a fan of the animation but this season looks a bit promising! Please note this is my own opinion and shouldn’t affect how you watch or believe in this series.

The Trailer For Season Two Of Marvel’s DAREDEVIL Is Here

Just when we didn’t think it could get any grittier and darker, it has. The newest trailer for season two of Netflix and Marvel’s hit show Daredevil has hit the internet and it’s promising us a whirlwind of a season.

Focusing on The Punisher played by Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal, we’ll get a season all about revenge and what will happen when two different sides of crime fighting come face to face.

I got chills watching this trailer. Daredevil was such a surprising show. I for one didn’t expect it to be so good and it really blew me out of the water. I wish I could experience it with fresh eyes again!
